Bat Chats are educational, information sessions about Peachland bats and other species in the Okanagan.
The program is appropriate for all ages, with PowerPoint presentations for Primary grades and Intermediates.

Bat Chats are held in the Peachland Visitor Centre
2. Summer Sessions
July and August - Every Wednesday & Saturday at 2:30 pm
Open to the public, all ages - $5 per person
3. School & Group Tours for Children
Reservation required, no limit to number of students.
Students will be divided into groups according to numbers. Includes brief history of the 1908 schoolhouse, PowerPoint presentation, Legends Of Lake Interpretive Centre tour and story time in the "Bat Cave".
Viewing of daily activity of bats in the attic via in-roost cameras.
Take home craft and activity sheets - $5 per person
4. Adult Tours
Reservation required, no limit to number of people.
Includes history tour of the Peachland Historic Primary School, tour of Legends of the Lake Interpretive Centre, including bat information and viewing of live footage of bats in the attic.
Optional: Mary Smith Hall Art Gallery tour and/or Author reading and signing of Bats in the Schoolhouse series of children's books.
